Morocco desert tour and adventure tour from Marrakech

Day1 :  Marrakech /  Ouarzazate/ Zagora (440 Km)

At 7:30 am departure for Ouarzazate via the Tiznt Tichka pass, visit outside the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Lunch, Visit of the Kasbah of Taourirt, Continuation to Ouarzazate: Orientation tour of the city. 3pm Departure to Zagora via the Draa Valley (fortified villages and oases) Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 :  Zagora / Erfoud / Merzouga  ( 300 Km)

After breakfast, visit the Jewish village of Amzrou and departure for Erfoud via Tazzarine and Alnif where lunch is planned. continuation to Erfoud to reach by 4x4 the place of bivouac in Merzouga, dinner and accommodation in bivouac in Merzouga. Merzouga is 55 Km away and the journey takes one hour.You will stop on the way to visit a fossil quarry and the lake, continue to the desert, the golden sand dunes of Merzouga, one of the most unforgettable sites in Morocco (the film Lawrence of Arabia was filmed there), the camels will be waiting for you from the arrival for a walk to the camp, a bivouac will be set up around a wood fire. You will enjoy the traditional Berber dinner served around a round table for 6 to 8 people, accommodation at night in an individual tent for (2 or more people) made of camel hair.

Day 3  : Merzouga / Rissani / El Kelaa ( 350 km)

Very early in the morning, you attend the sunrise on the dunes of Merzouga. No one has ever regretted getting up at 5am to watch the sunrise in the Moroccan desert: admire the pink disc of the sun appearing behind the gigantic dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast, visit Rissani, capital of Tafilalet and cradle of the reigning Alawid dynasty. Departure to Tineghir along the palm grove of the jorf. Before arriving in Tinghir, visit the Todra Gorge, continue to El Kelaa des Mgouna or the rose capital, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4  : El Kelaa / Ouarzazate /  Marrakech. ( 280 Km).

Departure to Marrakech.

Visit of Marrakech: Saadian tombs, Koutoubia, Menara, Agdal gardens and Bahia Palace.discovery of the souks and the famous Jemma El Fna square.
